Contemporary Wrap-Around Extension & Renovation Sussex – Project by DSN+BD

This wrap-around extension in Burgess Hill transformed a classic Victorian period home through the demolition of a dated rear addition and the construction of a new, architecturally integrated side and rear extension. The redesigned ground floor now features a bright, open-plan layout with greatly improved connection to the garden, tailored to modern family life.

Extensive internal remodelling reconfigured the layout for better flow, flexibility, and long-term usability. Throughout the build, sensitive architectural detailing and a carefully selected material palette ensured a seamless dialogue between historic character and contemporary design.
